About
Storage Sheds are my life.
That may seem a bit odd but it’s a family business. My grandfather was a wood worker although most of his life it was a hobby he a phenomenal talent. He would build everything from barns to furniture. As a young boy I enjoyed working in his shop primarily making birdhouses, planter boxes and even pizza peels (pizza paddles).
As a young teenager I graduated to helping my father at his woodworking shop and retail locations. Building fence was part of my gig there but most of the days were spent jumping from shed roof to shed roof and talking to the installers.
And now I am a third generation shed guy. I’ve been building/designing and retailing sheds for over 20 years and I really enjoy it. Most of my time is spent at our main retail location in western Massachusetts with my father and brother. I primarily handle the marketing and product development as well as oversee the sales staff. My favorite part of the business is working on large projects assisting the customer with everything from the layout to site preparation.
For years I have been providing all types of shed information to my customers and anyone who would ask.
And that’s how Storagesheds.org and this storage shed blog came about. I have written many articles for our other websites ranging from chiminea information to playset site preparation and outdoor furniture and it was time to share what I know about sheds.
So ask questions, share your thoughts or just read through some of the posts and if you can add anything you feel is useful then go for it!
